THE MOTHERS I MET
The Mothers I Met is a memoir about motherhood, grief and belonging. After becoming a mother without my own beside me, I turned away from conflicting parenting advice and towards the honest experiences of women themselves. Over five years, I spoke with more than one hundred mothers across six continents about care, recovery, identity, ritual, family and the parts of motherhood women rarely say aloud. The current manuscript is a literary reworking of that research: a personal journey from the search for certainty towards perspective, connection and the relief of being truthfully seen.
Working title. Manuscript in progress.
